I was born in Oakland (Bergen County) New Jersey.  When I first started visiting  Port Charlotte in 1978, I knew it was time to leave the long cold winters up north and enjoy year round living in sunny Southwest Florida.  I moved to Port Charlotte with my family in 1984, opened a restaurant and soon became highly recognized in the business community.  As years the years went by, the boys are now grown and on their own, and we've since sold the restaurant.  My husband, Barry and I have resided in North Port for the past 10 years, and have watched this area grow in leaps and bounds. 

My hobbies include: entertaining, cooking, travel, sailing, fishing, and long walks on the beach
